Job description



Under the supervision of the Finance and IT Manager, the Adjoint Finance Manager will perform various accounting analysis, bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

Main tasks



  • Participate in the planning, organization and evaluation of the activities of the company's financial department;
  • Be a resource person for accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as all day-to-day transactions;
  • Calculate and track monthly commissions;
  • Collect and collate all information related to month-end closings;
  • Prepare and analyze various reports and ensure their follow-up;
  • Support in various accounting and financial aspects;
  • Supervise the production of various accounting reports in order to meet deadlines;
  • Supervise terminations of the contract;
  • Support the accounting cycle and financial reporting;
  • Act as an advisor to the management team regarding the financial and accounting aspect of the company in various decisions;
  • Issue recommendations related to the financial performance of the company;
  • Perform any other related tasks.


Prerequisites



  • BAC in accounting or finance;
  • Three (3) years of minimum experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of accounting software, knowledge of Acomba software is an asset;
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word and Excel);
  • Knowledge in the field of construction would be an asset;
  • Be versatile, thorough, punctual and diligent;
  • Ability to work under pressure and successfully complete several files at the same time.
