The most beautiful cuisine in Quebec in 2022 is ours! It is with the greatest joy that we were awarded the big winner of the competition organized by Je Decore. A huge thank you to the public for voting for our Farmhouse kitchen, which we are so proud of and which features a much in demand style.
Slow living in the countryside
Take the time to live: this is what the owners of this intergenerational house in the countryside aspired to. As it was a self-construction, the canvas was blank to build a living space where the three generations could afford a softer, slower life. The focal point of the house, the kitchen had to reflect this calm state of mind. With its lightness and authentic charm, the farmhouse style was a natural choice. Neutral colors and natural materials diffuse this peaceful aura.
What could be softer and more delicate than white? That's why it dominates in this room, especially with the thermoplastic cabinets and Diamond White quartz countertops. The open shelves on each side of the hood relieve the wall and lighten the room.
A 14-foot-long island with a view of nature really makes you want to cook! Like the furniture, the shaker-style cabinets and the various light fixtures, the apron sink supports the farmhouse style of the decor.
