Cabinet Vision Administrator

Under the immediate responsibility of the Vice-President of Finance and Administration, the Cabinet Vision Administrator supports designers in the use of Cabinet Vision computer drawing software.



Required profile



Analytical mind, good capacity for learning and methodical. Excellent communicator, diplomacy, autonomy, concern for results. Good adaptability to change, initiative, excellent sense of organization and priorities, oriented towards customer service and very good team spirit.



Main tasks



  • Establish and document user needs in Cabinet Vision software;
  • Design, modify, test, implement and develop the database architecture for projects in Cabinet Vision;
  • Use database management systems to analyze data and perform analyzes;
  • Study and document data collection and administration policies, access rules and security;
  • Develop policies and procedures for network use and access, as well as policies and procedures for backing up and restoring data;
  • Provide Cabinet Vision software problem solving services, support, advice to internal system users in response to difficulties encountered;
  • Provide training for all users and ensure the proper integration of new software updates;
  • Optimizing the tool and methods in order to improve the productivity of Designer sellers;
  • Communicate with users having difficulty with the software to determine a solution to problems encountered;
  • Collect data, organize, document and maintain a problem and solution log for reference;
  • Test, configure, maintain and repair Cabinet Vision software for internal customers as needed;
  • Participate in the writing of new specifications for the software;
  • Consult user groups, technical manuals and other documents to identify and implement fixes and solutions;
  • Write documentation relating to computer systems (technical procedures, work schedules, etc.);
  • Carry out a technological watch on new versions of Cabinet Vision and its related products;
  • Maintain and develop the Cabinet Vision ACA library in order to add / modify products and optimize its use;
  • Ensure the supervision and training of the staff in his charge;
  • All other tasks directly related to the job.


Prerequisites



  • Excellent knowledge of Cabinet Vision software;
  • Design training (asset);
  • Have a valid class 5 driving license;
  • Be available to travel between branches and head office;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word advanced level);
  • Good French and functional English;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to complete several files at the same time.
