Daily Worker

Under the immediate responsibility of the plant operations coordinator, the day laborer performs the tasks assigned to him on the production line. It can be assigned to different places in the factory, such as assembly, packaging or sandblasting.
Required profile
Methodical, autonomous, meticulous, loving working with tools and machinery. Ability to work under pressure, while promoting teamwork.
Main tasks
- Receive and sort parts of furniture and accessories;
- Assemble the boxes;
- Check the furniture, make minor repairs if necessary and pack it;
- Sand and paint the surfaces the applicant;
- Bring the raw materials in for processing;
- Store items in the appropriate area, in accordance with established company procedures;
- Process incoming requests and route parts for shipment;
- Perform all other tasks directly related to the job.
Prerequisites
- Minimum DES or equivalent (Asset);
- Cabinetmaking training (Important asset);
- Knowledge in the field of cabinets or furniture (Asset);
- Knowledge of factory work;
- The job requires lifting and handling weights up to 50 pounds;
- Be versatile, punctual and diligent.
