Job description



The Kitchen Designer - B2B Sector creates and realizes aesthetic, functional and safe kitchen, bathroom and other furniture concepts for residential buildings. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Designer - B2B Sector Team Leader, the Kitchen Designer - B2B Sector works closely with the Sales and Technical teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales targets.

Main responsibilities



  • Accompany the client from the beginning to the end of the process of designing their new living space;
  • Consult with the client to gather information about the future kitchen and determine their needs, preferences, constraints, requirements, budgets and intended use of the space;
  • Assist the client and provide advice on the choice of colors, style, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other objects taking into account the principles professional ergonomics and hygiene;
  • Evaluate costs and materials needed and provide leasing, real estate and marketing advice as appropriate;
  • Create and develop concepts and plans for cabinets, vanities and other furniture that is aesthetic, functional and safe, taking into account the information previously received from the client and additional information given by the measuring technician according to the rules of the art and in compliance with production standards;
  • Perform all other tasks directly related to the job.


Prerequisites



  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in design or training considered equivalent;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Proficiency in 3D software IT tools (Cabinet Vision);
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel and Word);
  • Good knowledge of interior design and design trends;
  • Good knowledge in the field of construction and cabinets;
  • Good knowledge of cabinet materials and standards;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once;
  • Be available occasionally evenings and weekends;
  • Good skills in French and English in order to be able to serve customers (asset).
