Job description



Under the responsibility of the Marketing Manager, the Communications and Events Technician is in charge of deploying the company's internal communications strategies, he ensures the organization of events and assists the Marketing Manager in the deployment of Marketing actions for the Armoires Brand Action Kitchens. The Technician also contributes to promoting the image, values and quality of the company's environment.

Main tasks



Communications panel

With our large team established in several different locations, we take care to provide an internal communications service, the responsibility of which falls under this position:

  • Implement the company's internal communication plan, mainly focused on the Employer Brand;
  • Draft various communications, update, animate and feed communication platforms dedicated to employees;
  • Ensure a quality control service, in particular by ensuring that the way of communicating with the various clienteles respects the defined standards.

Event component

At Armoires Cuisines Action, we enjoy life at work and this includes, among other things, our many events, gatherings and theme weeks throughout the year. We also have the mission of bringing diverse events to life for our customers:

  • Ensure the implementation and general coordination of all of the company's corporate events, including our legendary Christmas party, our Christmas tree counting, our summer activity, our Annual Prospective and more again;
  • Implement the various attentions related to the Employer Brand (International Women's Day, Easter, National Day, Halloween, etc.);
  • Develop and manage the company's various external marketing events (trade shows or kiosks, congresses, VIP events, golf, branch openings, meetings, etc.) and intended for various target clienteles;
  • Collaborate in the development and monitoring of the production budget for all events;
  • Produce a schedule, prepare and lead project progress meetings, make purchases and set up events;
  • Provide a personalized and attentive customer experience through unparalleled service.

Marketing component

Armoires Cuisines Action is a Quebec brand established since 1989 that evolves within diversified placements and visibility projects:

  • Collaborate and take part in Marketing projects (influencers, brainstorming, copywriting, monitoring of objectives);
  • Collaborate in the management of external suppliers of marketing content production, such as radio recording, photo shooting, filming, etc. ;
  • Collaborate and provide marketing support to sales (material supply);
  • Record and record various data related to the department's objectives (traffic, e-reputation, satisfaction surveys, etc.);
  • Any other job-related duties.



Prerequisites



  • Holder of training in communication, marketing or other relevant discipline and/or experience in similar functions;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge of visual design software (Canva);
  • Perfect command of French grammar and spelling;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Be available occasionally to work outside regular hours, i.e. evenings and weekends for events;
  • Be willing to travel frequently to our Head Office located in Sainte-Sabine;
  • Advanced written English (asset)
