Production Manager

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager ensures that production runs smoothly in order to serve customers on time and offer a quality product. He/she works in close collaboration with the plant manager.
Required profile
Methodical, organizational skills, analytical mind, Results oriented, rigorous, autonomous, good ability to adapt to changes, very good team spirit and customer service oriented.
Main tasks
- Facilitate various meetings directly related to production;
- Ensure the good performance and quality of its service in terms of results, customer satisfaction and work climate;
- Ensure the achievement of objectives for the plant;
- Participate in the development of work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other departments;
- Support the plant manager in the management of human resources and supervision of his departments;
- Ensure compliance with the organization's standards and policies for all personnel in his/her departments;
- Oversee the training of new personnel and ensure the training of workers as to their duties, safety standards and company policies;
- Conduct follow-ups on production issues, set up and follow up on action plans;
- Perform coaching with his management team;
- Complete daily production reports;
- Participate in the evaluation of personnel in his/her charge;
- Any other duties directly related to the job.
Prerequisites
- DEC in cabinet making or training deemed equivalent (at asset);
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a factory or similar field;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word intermediate level);
- Ability to work under pressure and complete multiple files at once.
