Job description
The Production Supervisor is at the heart of the production process, contributing directly to the manufacture of high-quality products for customers. He/she is responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly, supporting production staff and providing support to his/her superior. Reporting to the Production Management Manager, he/she works closely with other members of the operations team to ensure maximum operational efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.

Main tasks
- Collaborate in workforce planning and communicate assignments to employees according to the work plan and company requirements (productivity, quality, safety, services, volume, etc.);
- Ensure that set objectives are achieved and by disseminating company requirements related to productivity, quality, safety, etc.;
- Coordinate, advise, assign and review the work of the staff in his charge;
- Ensure the proper functioning of the production line, depending on the sector in charge, identify discrepancies and resolve work-related problems;
- Ensure compliance with Armoires Cuisines Action policies and procedures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment;
- Monitor absences and lateness and apply disciplinary measures accordingly;
- Control service performance and ensure production quality by checking parts and boxes by carrying out quality audits;
- Write reports for management and participate in daily meetings;
- Ensure a good working climate;
- Carry out the evaluation process for the staff in his charge;
- Have an active participation in continuous improvement for your sector;
- Responsible for inventory management for his sector (monthly and annual inventory account)
- Perform all other tasks directly related to the job.
Prerequisites
- Diploma of college studies (DEC) or training deemed equivalent;
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment;
- Mastery of IT tools and production management software;
- In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodologies;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel and Word);
- Good knowledge in the field of construction and cabinets;
- Good knowledge of cabinet materials and standards;
- Knowledge of security processes, compliance standards and company policies;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks at once.
