Team leader Driver

Under the immediate responsibility of the planning coordinator, the driver team leader plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the progress and proper functioning of deliveries.
Required profile
Autonomy, methodical, resourceful, leadership. Ability to work under pressure while promoting teamwork.
Main tasks
- Drive a heavy-duty trailer truck to deliver cabinet and accessory modules following a pre-established route;
- Ensure that orders are complete and that material meets company quality standards;
- Coordinate, advise, assign and review the work of the staff in his charge;
- Inspect the vehicle before departure and ensure the smooth running of deliveries;
- Follow up on deliveries and transmit information to their team;
- Develop and implement programs to ensure the efficient use of materials, labor and equipment;
- Monitor the performance of the team and take the actions necessary for the smooth running of deliveries and customer service;
- Provide training for workers in their tasks, safety standards and company policies;
- Ensure a good working climate and the mobilization of the team;
- Evaluate the personnel under his charge;
- Have an active participation in improving your sector;
- Support, as needed only, delivery assistants in the delivery of material;
- Perform all other tasks directly related to the job.
Prerequisites
- Driving license class 1;
- 3 years of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle;
- Strong interest in personnel management;
- Knowledge in the field of cabinets or furniture;
- Interpersonal skills and personnel management;
- Be versatile, punctual and diligent.
